Another star in drug scandal.

This time its the loveable Bruno Mars who pleaded guilty for possession of 2.6 grams of Cocaine which was found in his hotel bathroom in Las Vegas.

Fortunately for Mr Mars, he struck a plea deal and will receive a $2,000 fine, 200 hours of community service and eight hours of drug counselling, instead of resulting to prison.

Bruno will also have no conviction on his record, provided he stays out of trouble for the next year.

Invitations are out - so are the souvenirs

LFW- Omar Kashoura

My sister is lending a helping hand to the one that is known as Omar Kashoura.
Studying his MA at St Martins, Omar has never looked back since after setting up his own label a couple of years ago.. Describing his ideal man as "Any chap with an eye for quality and a love of colour", with “Animated film noir, vanitas and a relaxed elegance.” If you are one of the lucky ones attending LFW, Omar is the one not to be missed.

EAST IS EAST IS BACK!

I never thought the day would come, but it has 12 years later and I couldn't be more happier. One of my favourite films of all time has returned with the title 'West Is West'.
Keeping most of the best loved characters from the British hit back in 1999, it looks like it is going to be as good as ever. Just moving forward a few years.
Here is a quick peak of the film... I am soo excited

Other Brit Award Highlights...

The Forest Gate born Star aka Plan B, last night revealed he is going to produce a Reggae - Hip Hop album after winning ' Best Solo Artist'. This I would like to see. I have always been a fan of Plan B's creative style and how he manages to pull so many genres together is beyond me. Going on tour in March, tickets are strangely still available, but will be like goldust now From kids to OAP's, they all can't get enough of this star...

OF COURSE

BRITs 2011 Critics’ Choice Award All the Best Jessie J!!

Adele- Brit Awards 2011- Some one Like you

She took my breath away last night on the Brit Awards and never seems to let herself down on any performance. Leaving people speechless as always she was probably the biggest highlight of the evening. The soon to be world star phenomenon is just getting more sensational as the songs progress and she is becoming a mega star in her own right. Her perfectly tuned vocals mixed with tingling goosebump lyrics managed to let that one tear slip away. Recording memories for anyone who has been touched by love, she recaps this in her experiences and manages to bring them all to life in her songs.. Watch this, I am sure you will feel the same...

Rags to Ritches

No matter how much some of us deteste the money makers splashing their cash under our noses, I think this is a step to far, some might say...

Poly Styrene - "Virtual Boyfriend" Future Noise Music

With the release of her eagerly anticipated solo album ‘Generation Indigo’ fast approaching (due March 28th), Poly Styrene – the unforgettable frontwoman and iconic face of the seminal band X-ray Spex – has announced her new single ‘Virtual Boyfriend’.

‘Virtual Boyfriend’ will be released through Future Noise Music on March 21st and highlights Poly’s talent for mighty, power-pop melodies. Produced by Youth (The Verve, Killing Joke, The Fireman, Edwyn Collins), ‘Generation Indigo’ showcases Poly’s humorous musings on pop culture, the internet and fashion whilst also tackling heavier subject matter (war and racism) with her politically aware and intelligent lyrics. The album isn’t just power-pop though, it takes in everything from neo-X-ray Spex punk rock on ‘Thrash City’ and ‘L.U.V’ to the Trojan-reggae infused grooves of ‘No Rockefeller’, ‘Code Pink Dub’ and ‘Colour Blind’ whilst one of the stand out songs, ‘White Gold’ attests to the power of Poly’s soaring vocals.
