Celebs can have a joke too...

Emma Watson for Lacome

Yes the rumours are true, Fred and Rose West are making a chilling return with a tv drama.

The show has recreated 25 Cromwell St, the home where nine of their 12 victims were tortured, raped and murdered.

Actress Monica Dolan is a perfect match for Rose West while The Wire star Dominic West takes on Fred.

The killers' terraced home in Gloucester was demolished in 1996 - a year after Fred, 53, hanged himself on remand. Whereas Rose, now 58, was locked up for life.

Reggae star Smiley Culture’s arrest suicide

The 48-year-old asked police if he could make a cup of tea before being taken into custody, detectives agreed to let the star put the kettle on.

David Emmanuel- real name of the Reggae artist who is known for the 1984 hit with a song called Police Officer - grabbed a carving knife and stabbed himself in the heart.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is to probe his death but sources stressed there were no suspicious circumstances.

He was already on bail over a £250,000 cocaine seizure before yesterday's 7am raid on his home in Warlingham, Surrey.

One source said: "Smiley must have thought he was going away for a long time and decided he could not handle it.

"While the Old Bill were sitting waiting for their cuppa he took a carving knife and stabbed himself right in the heart with it."

Yesterday's swoop came after two kilos of coke were recovered from a drugs mule who had swallowed them before trying to enter the UK.

Smiley was alleged to have been part of a ring involved in the plot. A Met spokesman said: "Officers attended an address in Surrey to make an arrest. While they were there an incident occurred when a 48-year-old man died."

Phil Collins ends 40 years of music

The legendary rocker Phil Collins is leaving the music behind as he feels he never really belonged. "I don't think anyone's going to miss me."

The former GENESIS drummer, who has sold over 150million records, regrets that he became a superstar.

He added: "I'm sorry that it was all so successful. I honestly didn't mean it to happen like that. It's hardly surprising that people grew to hate me."

The 60-year-old, is suffering due to his career in music. His hearing has been badly affected, he has dislocated vertebra and nerve damage in his hands which makes it virtually impossible for him to play his beloved drums.

He revealed that he's already working on his exit strategy: "I'll go on a mysterious biking holiday and never return," he added in an interview with FHM.

"That would be a great way to end the story wouldn't it?"

Galliano Jobless

John Galliano has found himeself jobless today after the British designer was apparently declaring his love for Hitler and disparaging Jews it was revealed today.

The British designer - an alleged Jew hater - then tells a horrified woman: "People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f****** gassed."

Earlier actress Natalie Portman, who is Jewish, and under contract to the company as the face of its Miss Dior Cherie perfume, issued a strong statement to the Associated Press, saying she was "shocked and disgusted" by the video.

"In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way. I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."
