'London is the Reason' is the second single to be released from the critically-acclaimed album Grey Britain. The expectations are high for these boys as they have had phenomenal success with their twice-released debut Orchestra of Wolves. But by the looks of things, they have nabbed this one in the bag once again.
Going for more of a fist thumping approach than ever before, it still works well for the ear that's for sure and suits the Gallows pretty well if I do say so. Lead singer Frank Carter still has its going on as usual, coming back harder, stronger than before and bringing the boys right behind him. Taking the song to a sudden halt, it bursts out with immense guitar flicks and is joined in with solid bangs from Barratt.
Pure genesis, they truly have put all the world wide success in to some good use over the last couple of years. I'm in high spirits to listen to the rest of the album. It's a five star shoot down and experience is a key as it surely shows here. Good work boys.
